I do suggest you put on an extension pipe of some kind so the exhause doesn't come out under your foot or spray onto the leg of your passenger.
Just get a couple of semi-rigid clamps of some sort to secure the end of the pipe and the joint between the exhaust pipe and the extension.
One more thing. Don't ride past my house.
